Watch brand Tissot has the festive period all wrapped up thanks to a new ad campaign starring two of its most gift-worthy new watches.
The specially designed campaign also showcases some of the high-profile talent included on Tissot’s roster of watch ambassadors.
The advertisements feature images of the two Tissot watches earmarked as ‘highlight’ watches for the 2010/2011 festive period, the Tissot T-Touch II and Tissot Flamingo Diamonds.
The high-performance Tissot T-Touch II showcases the latest generation of Touch Technology from the Swiss watchmaker, offering an evolution from already impressive T-Touch Tissot watches. new functions include sophisticated altimeter, backlight, two alarms, two time zones and a perpetual calendar, making it the perfect gadget-rich gift for dad or hubby.
The second choice watch is Tissot Flamingo Diamonds, a contemporary ladies’ watch that sparkles at the most wonderful time of the year – and beyond. Set with 28 diamonds, this is the perfect gift for any lady in your life (even if that lady happens to be yourself) with domed sapphire crystal, mother of pearl dial and slim black strap only adding to the femininity of the design.
Although the watches themselves may be the star attraction, the inclusion of shots depicting members of the brand’s ambassador family wearing them only adds to the campaign’s selling power.
The watches are worn by different Tissot watch ambassadors depending on where in the world the ads are seen. Sporting icons Danica Patrick and Nicky Hayden will be bringing timely festive spirit to the US, while actress/model Deepika Padukone and footballer Michael Owen will showcase the gift of time across Europe and certain Asian markets. in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan, actress/singer Barbie Xu and actor/singer Huand Xiaoming will be shown wearing the focus Tissot watches.
