Okay, so hey!
My friends and I love writing letters to each other.. I mean, getting a letter in the mail is way more exciting than receiving an email, right? (:
So, we make these pretty awesome letter.. using tons of stationary, different color pens, ect. Then, we like to throw stickers in, because we all collected them at one point or another, and it's a cool thing to share.
Okay, the actual question…
I want to make my letters cooler, any ideas? for example.. besides stickers, what else should I throw in? or.. making the actual letter better?

You can add confetti to the letter so when it is opened the confetti falls out. Little bit of a surprize. I like the suggestion about writing the letter in the shape of something. we did that, and we also used toilet paper to write on, just for something different. Maybe try making your own paper? try water color paints watered down to make a tie dye like effect on plain paper.

Make up your own secret code and write in it. Also, put little gifts in with the letter, like bookmarks, drawings, photos, and anything else you can think of. You could also decorate your paper with pieces of fabric.

You could get a small notebook and decorate the first page and write something on there. Then mail it to your pen-pal and she decorates the second page and mails it back to you. be sure to date every page, so when you look at it over the years, you will remember when you received that new image. if you can mail one of the larger journal books back and forth, it can go on for years and years. Put things on your pages that have to do with what's going on in your life right then. Keep it up.
